We had a busy first day at the Egypt Petroleum Show in Cairo at our Energy Connects studio. We had the pleasure of sitting down with Lorenzo Simonelli, CEO of Baker Hughes to talk about his plans for the future of energy. We discussed the energy challenges facing African producers with Omar Farouk Ibrahim, Secretary General of African Petroleum Producers’ Oganization. We also spoke with Jean Sentenac, CEO of Axens about the future of the downstream sector.
