Mar 08, 2022 by Energy Connects
In an exclusive studio interview from EGYPS 2023, Julian Walker sat down with Ramez Refaat, Middle East Geoscience Manager, CGG, and Hesham Hendy, Egypt Exploration General Manager, bp, to talk about the benefits of the latest seismic imaging technologies for achieving the clearest images of the subsurface and providing critical reservoir insights in Egypt.
Ramez touched on how CGG’s long operating presence in the country, dating back more than 35 years, has helped the company gain in-depth knowledge of the geology, both onshore and offshore, and allowed the company to apply this local expertise to its seismic imaging technologies in Egypt.
