In an exclusive studio interview from COP28, Julian Walker sat down with Shaker Zainal, Head of the Mohammed bin Rashid Innovation Fund (MBRIF) and CBO of Emirates Development Bank (EDB), to talk about why he feels innovation is going to be so important when addressing climate change. Shaker touched on how MBRIF incorporates Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into its selection criteria for startups joining its programmes. He also highlighted MBRIF’s presence at COP28 in the Start Up Village area in the Green Zone.
