The vital need to scale up renewable energy
Nov 09, 2023 by Energy Connects
In our next exclusive COP28 focused interview, Julian Walker spoke to Jiří Waldhauser, Partner at Boston Consulting Group (BCG), to discuss why the scaling up of renewables is going to be so important if there is going to be any chance of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees. Jiří highlighted that as power generation is one of the main contributors to emissions, the need to massively build out renewable generation capacity globally is going to be vital to reach net zero emissions by 2050.
