EGYPES 2024 took a deep dive into Africa’s energy sector

In an exclusive live studio interview from Egypt Energy Show (EGYPES) 2024, Julian Walker sat down with Mickael Vogel, Director and Head of Research at Hawilti, to look back at some of the main outcomes from the inaugural EGYPES 2024 African Dialogue Conference. Mickael highlighted why Egypt made a lot of sense to host a dedicated day focused on the energy sector in Africa. He touched on 3 main outcomes which included the need for more cross border energy trade, a pragmatic energy access plan and better policy and regulatory frameworks for countries in Africa.
