Energy Workforce helps bridge the gender gap in the industry

In an exclusive Energy Connects Discussion on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Chiranjib Sengupta spoke to Molly Determan, President of the Energy Workforce & Technology Council in Houston, to talk about the pathways to narrow the gender gap in the industry.
Molly spoke about ways to expand the very definition of diversity in the industry, and how the Energy Workforce & Technology Council is supporting more women professionals through strategic action plans that go beyond mere virtue signalling. She also touched on how the implementation of new technologies and the diversification of energy sources can promote diversity and gender equity within the industry.
