Expanding clean power infrastructure vital for a low-carbon future
May 15, 2024 by Energy Connects
In an exclusive studio interview at Future Energy Asia Exhibition and Summit 2024, Chiranjib Sengupta spoke to Narsingh Chaudhary, President, Asia Pacific and India at Black & Veatch, to discuss the energy roadmap of the future as Asian economies shift to an affordable, secure and sustainable energy system.
Narsingh outlined why expanding power transmission networks will help Asia Pacific address voltage, frequency variability and grid code requirements as renewable energy capacities increase, and how energy storage technologies will play a critical role in the energy transition. He also highlighted the strategic role of natural gas to support the transition from coal, and why Future Energy Asia 2024 is a catalyst for a low-carbon future.
