Hydrogen and ammonia to play pivotal roles in the energy transition
May 21, 2024 by Energy Connects
In an exclusive interview ahead of the California Hydrogen Convention, Chiranjib Sengupta spoke to Eric Guter, Vice President, Hydrogen for Mobility at Air Products, to discuss how one of the first global movers in clean hydrogen is preparing for the next phase of its growth and contributing to the energy transition.
Eric unpacks his thoughts on the state of the global hydrogen economy, and provides an overview of Air Products’ low-carbon hydrogen projects in development in North America. Highlighting the opportunities in industrial decarbonisation beyond mobility, Eric also shares his views on the potential of hydrogen and ammonia to decarbonise industrial economies, and touches on why the inaugural edition of the California Hydrogen Convention – where Air Products is a co-host – will be a game-changer in clean energy transformation across the United States and beyond.
