Wood Mackenzie Chairman: industry needs to pick up the pace on decarbonisation

Underscoring the need for new supply and sustained demand growth, Simon explained how the industry is pivoting around the themes of carbon capture, the transformational impact of AI, and reducing emissions throughout the value chain. He also highlighted the significant potential of naturally occurring white hydrogen as a source of low-carbon energy for the industry, which could become an important market niche over the next decades.
